Astra GTC can be booked directly with a choice of four powertrains - one diesel and three petrol units. The upgraded 2.0 CDTI common-rail turbo diesel engine with an output of 121 kW/165 hp raised for equipped with diesel particulate filter and six-speed manual transmission. New Opel Start / Stop technology that reduces fuel consumption in stop and go traffic urban areas are standard equipment. 2.0 CDTI combines excellent performance with high efficiency. It delivers up to 380 Nm of torque thanks to the overboost function and allows Astra GTC to reach 100 km / h in 8.9 seconds. Top speed 210 km / h combined fuel consumption not exceeding 4.9 liters of diesel per 100 km and CO2 emissions 129 g / km. With a 56 liter fuel tank, the Astra GTC 2.0 CDTI can include more than 1,100 miles.
Start / Stop is also standard with two 1.4 turbo-petrol engine with 88 kW/120 hp of compression and 103 kW/140 hp output. Both have six-speed manual gearbox, delivering 200 Nm of torque and requires 5.9 liters of fuel per 100 km (139 g / km CO2). Bids current gasoline topped by a 132 kW/180 hp 1.6 turbo with a six-speed manual transmission, which has a top speed of 220 km / h.
