2011 Koenigsegg Agera R
Not so long ago, the Koenigsegg surprised the automotive world when almost bought Saab from General Motors. Now this small Swedish company is back to doing what he knows best, build exotic cars are very fast and expensive, and using R Agera new vocation as a high-performance cards.
The 1115-bhp 5.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine sends power to the transmission 7-speed dual-clutch. Koenigsegg new electronic differential is said to be lighter (and smarter) than that offered by other cars. E-Diff factor in everything from steering angle, yaw angle, speed, rpm, g force, current equipment and even the weather. We're guessing maybe even get to choose your favorite colors while blasting around the racetrack. Ceramic brake discs and sports-tuned ABS helps bring everything to stop quickly and drama-free.
Weighing only 3097 pounds, thanks to ultra-lightweight carbon fiber chassis and rigid. Given the ratio of power-to-heavy boss, there is a good chance that the Veyron R Agera soon be able to claim the title of fastest production car in the world. As an added bonus, the roof is removable and can be stored in front of the car - Koenigsegg showing off a roof-mount Thule ski box on the model shown in Geneva.
