2012 BMW M5 Specs & Performance


For the first time, a BMW M5 has a turbocharged engine grateful for the extraordinary dynamics. V8 high-revving unit with M TwinPower Turbo technology lends a new intensity to a powerful impetus to the sustained high-rev range of the famous M cars. Output 4.4-liter engine developing 412 kW/560 hp top of the 6000-7000 rpm, while maximum torque of 680 Newton-meter (502 lb-ft) is on tap between 1500 and 5750 rpm. The rev limiter at 7,200 rpm intervene.
