Ford Focus ECOnetic is supported by a 105PS version of the completely new 1.6-liter Duratorq TDCi diesel Ford, which has been optimized for improved fuel efficiency, with a new injection system and turbocharger, cooling costs and improved friction reduction measures further. 1.6-liter diesel ECOnetic paired with 6-speed manual transmission Ford Durashift, which is also used in the new Focus models with 1.6-liter TDCi engine.
The Focus ECOnetic also benefit a number of additional features that low CO2 has been developed specifically for this model include a unique aerodynamic package with Active Shutter Grille, ultra-low rolling resistance tires and the drive ratio of the final revision. ECOnetic models feature, as standard, innovative Active Shutter Grille - a new sophisticated system that optimizes aerodynamics by using ventilation to control air flow through the lattice to the cooling system and engine compartment.
